  1. Seems fair to me. Even if frogs are common in an area, it should not be anywhere near the hotel! It's a hotel, not a zoo!

  2. I think it's a legitimate complaint. Anyway, my threshold is 5/10. I think guests/customers who rate 6 or 7 actually liked the place except for a minor complaint. And most of the time they complain about silly things.

  3. If it were me, I'd have given it a 5. I have an aversion to frogs. It would be like having a fly in the room or on the table when I eat.

  4. I would not like to have frogs around me, let alone the croaking noise they make when it rains. On the other hand, killing them or destroying their habitat, disrupts the ecosystem (I think).

  5. For me, I will give a rating around 5-6 out of 10. It's a fair review tho. It's also to ensure that hotel management will do something in order to eliminate the frog around there.

  6. I will never go to these places. I have a frog phobia.

  7. The scenery is good. If not for the frog problem, I will love to pay a visit.

  8. Reviews could definitely help people decide on what accommodation to book. I probably wouldn't book a place if I couldn't see a review of it!

Re. the negative review, I do think it's fair especially if there are really a LOT of frogs. I stayed in a dorm besides a rice field years ago and there were plenty of frogs in the evening (outside, not inside. But still...)! I hated every minute of it.

  9. I believe 5 is fair for a review because the hotel is by a chance didn't quite well in handling those frogs. Having 2 frogs is okay but more than a dozen is not good for the quests.

  10. I think it fair enough. I don't like frogs to begin with but 2 or 3 is not bad thing since they are part of nature. Though its a different story if there were a bunch of them in the area and it would disturb guests.

  11. Yikes frogs! I'm afraid of frogs too but I wouldn't give a negative review based on the fact that frogs appear dark. I think that's unfair to the hotel and staff.

  12. Once I had to stay in a five star hotel which was clean and facilities were also not bad.But the only thing is I had advanced booked a single room but when I reached there I was given an explanation that the rooms are full and only a sweet room was available for which I had to pay extra charges.I had to accept it as the hotel was near to the place I had a training project.
