Bed Bugs Complaints...

Hello Travelers!
Today we will talk about "Bed Bugs".
Remember when I suggested to ALWAYS read the guest's reviews before booking a Hotel room?
Also, try to booking trough a well known agency as Booking.com, Expedia, TripAdvisor, Hotels.com...they have a great customer service support and will do anything to keep their CSAT (customer service satisfaction) in a high score level and will help you out of any bad situation.
Let's see few reviews regards bug beds from real guests:

I STAYED AT THE MOTEL MARCH 9-11 2014. I HAD BED BUGS IN MY ROOM 454 AND WHEN REPORTED TO MANAGEMENT THEY COULD NOT HAVE CARED ANY LESS. THEY OFFERED 2 FREE DRINKS AT THE BAR FOR COMPENSATION FOR LETTING BED BUGS CHEW ON ME FOR TWO NIGHTS. I DID MOVE TO A DIFFERENT ROOM, THEY DID NOT WANT TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT THE COST OF ROOMS BUT FINALLY DID GIVE ME TWO NIGHTS FREE. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS MOTEL TO ANYONE. WHAT A JOKE FOR A NAME BRAND MOTEL.

We were in town for a conference and my coworker checked into her room and checked Her
Bed for bed bugs. Sure enough, she saw them crawling on the mattress and box spring. They moved her to another room.

I woke up after the first night stay on 3/4/14 and had three bites on my arm that itched like crazy ! I initially thought they might be flea bites but every day I woke up, there would be more bites on my other arm. We left on 3/9/14 and by that time, I had several & I think I brought them home with me cause now I have over 20 and went to the dr. today due to now they are welting - probably due to itching them so much ! Had to be put on a steroid and a histamine. These Have bites on my legs, face, neck, & buttock. I've read about bed bugs but never thought I would have to experience it first hand. I will be giving the hotel a call in hopes that they will fix the problem so other people don't have to go through this.

Funniest Guest's Complaints about Hotels/Accommodations


Hello, Travelers!
Today I wanna share with you some of the funniest and ridiculous complaints ever!

1. A man who went to the Costa del Sol complained that there was too much food to eat from the buffet in his all-inclusive hotel. As a result, he put on 'at least 5lbs' during his trip, which he wasn't too pleased about.

2. Hotel had no ocean view (in Mayfair, London and Italy, 80km from coast)

3. “I’m sure I’ve stayed in this hotel room in a previous life. I cannot stay here again.“

4. "My fiance and I booked a twin-bedded room but we were placed in a double-bedded room. We now hold you responsible for the fact that I find myself pregnant. This would not have happened if you had put us in the room that we booked."

5. "Although the brochure said that there was a fully-equipped kitchen, there was no egg-slicer in the drawers."

6. "The hotel is very bad. It rained the whole time when we were there. We will not return ever again! "

7. "Two Germans requested to be refunded after spending holidays in Mauritius Island. Reason: "The beach was frequented by locals"

8. "We spend more than planned in tips, because the staff always did a great service"

9. "A woman threatened to call the police after claiming she had been locked in her hotel's room. In fact, she had mistaken the "do not disturb" on the inside of the door as a warning to not leave the room".

10. "The brochure said: 'No hairdressers at the accommodation'. We're trainee hairdressers, can we stay there? ".

How would you qualify the negative review bellow? Fair or unfair ?

*Hotel in Florida:
"Once dark approached frogs were every where, I have a bad fear for frogs".

Most common complaints



Hi, Travelers!
This space is for YOU to share with us all your travel experiences: the good ones and also the bad ones. Fell free to post photos as well (no advertising or porn, please).
We will be sharing very helpful tips and suggestions.
Just as a start:
*Most common complaints regards Accommodations:
#1: Overbooking.
#2: No reservation at check-in.
#3: Accommodation doesn't meet expectation.
#4: Couldn't find location as per information provided.

*Most common complaints regards Guests:
#1: NR(non refundable)reservations> Guest requests cancellation free of charge or to change dates on a NR rate and/or NR policy.
#2: Booking a room with the incorrect occupancy> Guest still wants to pay for single rate for 2 guests (for example).
#3: Room policies> accommodations can have different rates and policies for each room category> Booker doesn't read the policies and still wants to complaint even with no rights.
